Social Values

“Warmer homes. Stronger communities.”

At Simple Heating, caring for people goes beyond heating systems. While we help families across the UK stay warm through the ECO4 scheme, we also believe in supporting our local communities in meaningful, practical ways.

Our Social Values page highlights the projects, donations, and community work we proudly deliver throughout the year.

Our Mission to Give Back

Why We Support the Community

We believe every home deserves warmth — both physically and emotionally.
Our mission is not only to improve heating efficiency across the UK, but to help those who need it most through community outreach, charity partnerships, and local support initiatives.

Our commitments:

  • Supporting vulnerable individuals and families

  • Helping local charities through hands-on work and donations

  • Providing resources to improve wellbeing and quality of life

  • Giving back consistently, not just at Christmas

Supporting Jems Dance Studio

What We Did

Simple Energy donated new inflatable gymnastics mats to Jemma Walsh’s Dance School to support their growing classes for girls aged 2–18. The school needed updated equipment to help students practice tumbling and gymnastics skills safely and confidently.

How We Helped

By providing high-quality inflatable mats, we helped create a safer training environment for young dancers to develop their abilities. These mats allow students to learn new techniques with improved protection and support, helping them progress their skills in a fun and secure setting.

Why It Matters

Local clubs and community groups play a vital role in helping young people stay active, build confidence, and develop new talents. We believe in supporting organisations that make a positive impact on children’s lives, and we’re proud to help provide the resources they need to continue inspiring the next generation.

Supporting KIND – Christmas Hamper Appeal 2025

What We Did

In the lead-up to Christmas, members of the Simple Heating team, Marcus and Molly, volunteered their time with KIND to support their annual Christmas Hamper Appeal.

They spent the day at KIND’s warehouse helping prepare festive food hampers that would be distributed to families across Liverpool and Merseyside.

Alongside volunteering, Simple Heating also made a £500 donation to support KIND’s vital work and help fund their Christmas Appeal.

How We Helped

Our team assisted with the hands-on preparation of Christmas hampers by:

  • Lifting and organising food items from pallets

  • Sorting items into organised piles

  • Building and packing boxes ready for delivery.

This practical support helped ensure the hampers were packed efficiently and ready to reach families in time for Christmas.

Why It Matters

KIND supports disadvantaged children and families who may otherwise struggle during the festive period. Christmas can be an especially challenging time for many households, and these hampers help provide not just food, but dignity, comfort, and a sense of care during the holidays.

We are proud to support KIND through both volunteering and financial contributions, and to play a small part in helping make Christmas a little brighter for families in our local community.

Toy Donations to Activate Kirkby

Who We Supported

In December, we were proud to donate brand-new toys to Activate, a registered charity founded in 2005. Activate delivers personalised educational and vocational programmes for young adults with learning difficulties and disabilities across Knowsley.

They are also recognised as a Section 41 Secretary of State approved provider, highlighting the high-quality support they deliver to local families.

What We Did

Our team collected and delivered a range of toys to help support the amazing work Activate do every day. These gifts contribute to creating joyful, stimulating experiences for the young people they support.

Why It Matters

Activate plays a vital role in offering opportunities, development, and tailored care for young adults with additional needs.

By supporting them with toy donations, we hope to spread joy this festive season and show our appreciation for the important work they do in our community.

  • Delivered food and essential item donations

  • Volunteered time helping organise supplies

  • Learned more about how we can continue supporting family wellbeing locally

Why It Matters

Foodbanks are a lifeline for many households, especially during times of financial hardship.
Our team is committed to helping ease that pressure wherever possible.
